Story here.
World Net Daily seems to be the ONLY news organization actually INVESTIGATING Obama's CLAIMED "birth certificate". They're the ONLY news organization DOING THEIR JOB!
And they're being stonewalled by the very people who can (or cannot!) authenticate the claimed "birth certificate".
There's plenty of information at the link, still...

Is it me, or do a lot of folks not want ANYONE to dare to do a proper investigation into whether Obama's CLAIMED "birth certificate" is authentic?
The bottom line: OBAMA'S CLAIMED "BIRTH CERTIFICATE" HAS NOT BEEN AUTHENTICATED!
If it has, then prove it. Hearsay that it supposedly was doesn't count.
Belief doesn't count.
As long as Obama fails to provide THE actual, original, PAPER birth certificate AND has it formally, legally authenticated, I will continue to believe he is hiding something that could lead to him being charged with high treason. Like, knowingly being President while ineligible under the Constitution.
Thought experiment: If Sarah Palin released an unauthenticated copy of a claimed document, would the Left and the "mainstream" media automatically believe her? How about if it was Bush? Or Glenn Beck? Ann Coulter? Rush Limbaugh? Why, indeed, believe whatever Obama and the "mainstream" media tell us? Why refuse to believe Bush when he said Saddam had WMDs, but automatically believe Obama's dubious claim that he's shown us his "birth certificate" when it's a pisspoor, Photoshopped-looking REPRESENTATION and when it's impossible to get anyone to officially authenticate it?

As WND reported, United Press International and Snopes stated at one time that Obama had been born in Queens Medical Center.
But after a WND story on the topic was published, both sites suddenly changed the birth hospital to Honolulu's Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children.
At the time, Snopes sent WND a statement reading, "A number of readers have written to us to point out that Wikipedia previously updated their Obama-related entries to resolve the same discrepancy, so we included a similar clarification in our latest round of updates."
WND requested confirmation from the state Department of Health that the image released by the White House is an accurate representation of the original Hawaii records. Spokeswoman Janice Okubo referred the question to Donalyn DelaCruz in the office of Gov. Neil Abercrombie. DelaCruz did not respond to a WND request.
WND also requested comment from the White House but did not receive a response.
