Smoke DZA "Rolling Stoned" Album Credits are Vicious...

Normally, I don't get excited over album credits. I need to hear the actual music. But seriously, who hasn't heard On the Corner, and who isn't a fan of Kendrick Lamar, Big K.R.I.T., Dom Kennedy, Curren$y, Schoolboy Q, Big Sant, and Bun B. If you've heard George Kush (I heard it for the first time this weekend) and T.H.C., then you already know.  I am pretty sure that DZA put in some serious work on this project.  When it drops, I going to put some serious work into listening to it the way it was meant to be heard. *exhale* Riiggggghhhtt!

Danny! Announces New Album Title

After being on, what seems like, a 2 year hiatus, Danny! has returned to the Hip Hop scene with a strong desire to give the fans what they need. He's been working with Von Pea (of Tanya Morgan) ona collaboration project, while satisfying the obligations of his new contract with Interscope Records. Well, sh*t just got official.

"And BOOM goes the dynamite. New album "Payback" coming fourth quarter 2011. Stay tuned for announcements of features, cryptic of course"

I have faith that Danny! is going to stay on schedule and grind out this "Payback" album with ease.  I hope he reaches out to a lot of great artists for this project.  Hopefully, his trip to the A3C Festival in ATL will be a very eventful one that could result in some great, new sounds for the album.  Its all about networking!

Big Boi Finished with Daddy Fat Sax: Soul Funk Crusader???

“Oh man, it’s going to be S-A-X-X-X triple unadulterated funk to the extremest level. Straight lyrical assassin, and the beats are going to be as hard hitting as always. I’mma let everything else be a surprise, and just let it speak for itself…I’m 17 songs into it now, everything is sounding phenomenal. I could put it out tomorrow if I wanted to, but I’mma marinate on it because I’m on the road. I feel good about it, all the music’s sounding great… I’m just really stayin’ busy out here killin’ it.”

Big Boi hasn't settled down at all. His last solo LP was off the chain and I know this one is going to be even better. Look at all the new talent he has to work with, and if you've been paying attention, you're should be excited.
